Mrs. Turilli grew up in central Illinois and received her bachelor’s degree in special education from Illinois State University and her master’s degree from Western Illinois University.  She taught students with learning disabilities and behavior disorders in Illinois and New York for 10 years.  Mrs. Turilli was director of education at the Children’s Discovery Museum for several years before joining the ISU Special Education staff in 1997 as a student teaching supervisor.  Mrs. Turilli has worked with the McLean and Peoria field base programs and is currently coordinator of Early Field Experiences, in addition to leading seminars and supervising students in the practicum program.
